Teaching International Communication

I am currently teaching two sections of International Communication. We use Daya Thussu's book, "International Communication: Continuity and Change," and today's lecture is always a favorite: The Global and the Local, and Contraflow. Examples include the South African Broadcasting Corporation, the Simpsons, Zee TV, Slumdog Millionaire, Afghan Star, Phoenix Chinese Channel, and Ugly Betty.
